About Ms. Abigail Shaver...
Hello,
My name is Abigail Shaver and I am a teacher of secondary level Spanish and English. I obtained my degree in Secondary Education Spanish and English at Western Michigan University, graduating with the class of 2020. I realized that I wanted to become a teacher during my freshman year of high school after embarking on a voluntary mission trip in Montana, where I was placed in a very low income school. Throughout my experiences there and the process of gaining my degree in education I was more convinced than ever that this was the profession for me. I have always loved working with kids and I am reminded of this every day at work.
Aside from teaching, I enjoy running, photography, and of course reading. I love to travel and take pictures wherever I go, below I have included some of the photography that I have taken at some of the sights I have visited. Feel free to scroll through them to get to know a little but more about me.
